Each Chapter can select one person for each category to receive a certificate. The Chapters should submit the names of all nominees and they will be recognized on the FSCPM’s website, however only one winner, per chapter, per category will receive a certificate at the Symposium. Certificate of Appreciation templates will be available for chapters to download, complete and print for all nominees. The nomination form for the CPM of the Year and the Henning Award are located on the FSCPM website under the “Forms” section at: http://www.fscpm.org/forms.htm.

| CPM of the Year Award | |||
| Florida’s highest honor is presented to a Florida CPM member who has made the greatest contribution to the FSCPM. Nominees are evaluated on their career accomplishments, Society/Academy activities, innovations/contributions to management, leadership activities and community service. * | |||
| The Henning Award | |||
|
The American Academy of Certified Public Managers’ (AACPM) highest honor. Each state who is a member of the AACPM is encouraged to submit a nomination for this award, named for Kenneth K. Henning, recognized as the father of the Certified Public Manager Program. The state will select a Henning Award winner and that person will be forwarded as the nominee from Florida for the AACPM Henning Award. Although not a requirement, it is recommended that the Henning Award nominee has been active in the American Academy of Certified Public Managers. * |

| The Outstanding Contribution Award | |||
| This award is given for commitment, dedication and exceptional service to FSCPM** | |||
| The Extra Mile Award | |||
| This award is for willingness and strength of character to go above and beyond expectations to ensure the success of FSCPM.** | |||
| The Exceptional Leadership Award | |||
| This award is given to managers and leaders who provide outstanding leadership within the organization whether at the state or chapter level. This individual stays on top of things and is aware of what is happening within the organization and is always there to provide a guiding hand where needed. He or she encourages board members to excel. ** | |||

Professional Development & Continuing Education |

To receive this award, a member must actively contribute to the professional development and continuing education of CPMs. This person encourages individuals to become CPMs and does not hesitate to mentor and share information with others. He/she truly embodies the overall spirit of FSCPM’s mission to provide knowledge and growth opportunities for public managers. ** |

|
Given in recognition of 15 years of continuous and sustained service and dedication to the FSCPM. ** |
