B Sharp's Jazz Cafe..."The Restoration Years

 Clarence & Gerri  Seay

Amtrak

The Seays will talk about the team building efforts it took to restore the building where the B Sharp's Jazz Cafe is located (648 West Brevard).  The building was originally built in 1921 as an Old Folks Home through financial support from the Woman's Working Band.  It was donated to WWII Vets by the "Band" in 1948 for use as the Sneed Franklin American Legion Post 205.  It was lovingly restored from 2004-2006 by the Seay's.  It is listed on the Local Registry of Tallahassee's Historic Places and National Historic Landmark Designation has been applied for.
