CHAPTER VISION

Certified Public Managers will be recognized as leaders in government by improved organizational and personal performance in government organizations through the knowledge, commitment and actions of the Chapter's members.

CHAPTER MISSION

To foster and maintain high professional and ethical standards in the practice of public management and to further the professional growth of the Chapter's members.

2007 GOALS

Goal # 1:  Promote and enhance the growth of the Certified Public Manager Program and the Florida Society of Certified Public Managers.

* Continue as largest and most active Chapter in the Florida Society of Certified Public Managers.
* Increase membership and participation in the North Florida Chapter's and Florida Society's events.
* Increase member interest in running for office and joining Program committees.
* Enhance and improve the publicity of Program, Chapter and Florida Society events.
* Establish intra-agency and inter-agency contacts.
* Increase Mailings to members and non-members.
* Publicize Chapter Vision, Mission , and Events.

Goal # 2:  Promote and enhance public management in the North Florida region.

* Provide and improve training events.
* Institute Mentoring Assistance to CPM Students.

Goal # 3:  Promote and enhance growth in Community Service.

* Identify and promote worthwhile community service activities.
* Establish community service partners.

Goal # 4:  Promote the recognition of the Certified Public Manager program and the Florida Society of Certified Public Managers.

* Provide an annual Public Service Recognition Event and an Awards Program.
* Participate in Level 8 Graduation.

Goal # 5:  Promote fund raising for the North Florida Chapter CPM and the Florida Society of Certified Public Managers.
